Hey, I'm Isha Sidhu and I love baking!

Day of Different. For some, it was a dreadful task, for others, it was a learning opportunity, but for me, it’s the story of how Village Sweet Spot came to life. It started with a school assignment where each student was assigned something to do each month that they hadn’t done before, something new hence the “day of different”. I chose to bake, and little did I know it would become my new favourite thing. As a beginner, I bought the Betty Crocker Fudge Mix and made cupcakes. I continued to practice, made numerous mistakes, tried new recipes and had so much fun in the process. I made cookies, cakes, more cupcakes and used trial and error to my advantage. Two years later, in a high school leadership program, each member was responsible for executing a passion project. I thought long and hard about various passions and interests and how I could successfully this out. Looking to expand and put my skills to a higher level, there I was creating the name, logo and menu in order to launch this bakery.
